“When I was a young boy my dad would go hunting for caribou, and sometimes in those days people didn’t have everything, it was pretty hard. But I went with my dad this one time, and it was the first time I saw a caribou and I was very happy. I was watching my dad cut up the caribou - skinning it first, you know. We used to play around when he was doing this and he said ‘come over here and watch. You’re going to learn. So just watch because you’re going to do this one day.’”
