“Well, in the early ‘60’s, or I think in the late 60’s, they said the caribou was declining.  So, you know, the people they hunted caribou, but only a certain amount of caribou that they had to shoot. A certain kind of caribou, like females, they don’t shoot the females but they shoot the bull. Yeah, that’s what I heard. And so that’s what they were doing. But some people, they killed too much caribou. Maybe other people from other communities too - like from other places, they go hunting on the barrenlands in the wintertime with skidoos, with trucks now. I think it’s very declining.”
