“We stored some dry caribou meat in the freezer. We make dry meat, we store it, and fat - whatever we had  - we put it in the freezer and fix it really good. Then, it lasts us until summertime. And, well, my husband passed away in 1999. Nobody go hunting for me. Sometimes I’m just craving to eat whatever I want to eat but I never eat it. So the kids are like that. Maybe later our grandchildren are not going to be eating caribou meat, just only store meat.”
